The second season of ESL ESEA's Pro League, which will hand out $1 million in cash prizes by the time 2015 is complete, is ready to kick off in a few hours time.
The announcement of the ESL ESEA Pro League boasted a $1 million total prize output, split between two seasons and with offline finals in Cologne for season one and in Los Angeles for season two.
As was revealed later, the $500,000 per season is actually split evenly between the offline and online portions of the league, thereby rewarding teams merely for qualifying and competing in the Pro League itself.
With fnatic being crowned champions of Season 1 in a scorching hot studio in Cologne, Germany back in July, teams on both sides of the pond will be starting the season off with high motivations to make the offline finals in Los Angeles for the second season.
